Feeling empowered is just something that happens in the movies, right? In real life feeling strong, confident and in control is something we only get if we manage to get to the gym this week. The rest of the time, we’re too busy fighting fires and worrying about whether our children are getting enough Vitamin D to even consider whether we feel empowered.

But when we feel strong and confident and empowered, the firefighting becomes easier because we’re confident we can do it. Strength and confidence helps us to cope with all areas of our lives, and this empowerment allows us to feel more calm and less stressed. 

Stop worrying about whether you’ll be any good at that presentation next week, about whether your children are eating enough vegetables, about whether your mother in law approves of your choice of school. Stop - inhale - reset and know that everything is just fine.
